Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering at your local Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a great way to create positive change in your community! Whether it’s with a group or as an individual, we are always searching for volunteers who want to make a difference.

Whatever skills you feel you can contribute, we certainly have a position for you! There are a wide range of tasks that volunteers may be asked to perform. From helping to unload our delivery trucks to furniture repair and refurbishing, we have many opportunities for you to get the most out of your volunteer experience with Habitat for Humanity.

By volunteering with a local ReStore, you are helping to keep the prices of our items low, provide a better shopping experience to our customers, and ultimately helping us to raise more money to provide families with affordable housing in your community.

Our ultimate goal is to create a successful ReStore that can fully fund the Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity goal of providing decent housing for those in need.

You must be at least 14 to volunteer at the ReStore. Volunteers age 14 or 15 must have an adult volunteer with them. Volunteers age 16 or older can volunteer independently. Volunteers age 14-17 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Click here to print the waiver or fill one out in-store.

ReStore Volunteers must register for orientation before signing up for other shifts.
