About Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity ReStores
Habitat for Humanity ReStores are discount home improvement stores, run by Habitat affiliates, that accept and resell quality new and used building materials.
The funds raised by our ReStores in Independence and Blue Springs goes directly to Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity and is used to build new homes and run our home repair and weatherization programs.
Shopping at a ReStore is a socially conscious decision, as funds generated are used for Habitat home-building projects. Shopping at a ReStore is also an environmentally conscious decision, as much of what is sold at ReStores are items that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
